Dr. Sakshi

About

Portrait · coming soon

I am Dr. Sakshi, a neuro physiotherapist based in India. My work is with the conditions that re-write a family overnight — stroke, Parkinson's, spinal-cord injury, cerebral palsy, peripheral neuropathy — and with the people who live alongside them.

The Indian neuro rehab landscape is honest about its problem: there are not enough specialised physiotherapists, and the families who need them rarely know what to ask for. My answer is small and specific. Programmes are written down. Caregivers are taught. Reviews are routine. Improvement is judged in the kitchen, not in the clinic.

The work, in one sentence.

Help the family run a steady, evidence-led recovery between specialist visits — for as long as the recovery has somewhere to go.

Why neuro

Orthopaedics is well covered. Sports physio is busy and visible. Neuro physiotherapy in India remains under-recognised, even though stroke alone touches well over a million families a year. The work is slower. It requires patience and persistence in equal measure. It rewards both.

A note on tone

I will not promise miracles. I will not predict your timeline. I will not sell you anything beyond a consult. What I will do is listen carefully, set expectations honestly, and help you do the right work in the right order.

When in doubt, the next correct step is small and specific.

Begin

A 30-minute consult is the smallest first step.

Tell me what your family is facing. I'll tell you whether I'm the right person — and if not, who you should be speaking to.
